7. What if we are NOT satisfied "after" we purchase?
|
We want our customers to be fully satisfied. But due to specialty and unique nature of our product line, we are unable to offer any blank "satisfaction guarantee" after the purchase. A genuine concern or problem from a good customer may be addressed after we fully understand the nature of concern or problem. If possible, then we may accomodate the customer & try to satisfy. However, we must first receive the problem or the concern by email and the customer must clearly understand that we are not obliged in any way to satisfy the customer as per their whims & fancies. We have "satisfied" customer base and their Testimonials on our site may be an indication for you to feel satisfied "before" purchasing from us. Our showroom or our site is really NOT looking for customers who are penny pinchers. Though our good customers are saying that they have saved thousands of dollars each year, while looking their best and by buying "smart" Jewelry from us (on our advice). According to us, that satisfaction is the only real satisfaction that we as a Jeweler could have offered to our good customers. Compliments is priceless and our good customers have experienced that by overall spending less and getting more. We have heard enough horrible stories from people who have purchased from other Jewelers in our market & elsewhere. Our customers are mainly those whose criteria is selection, collection & availability in the U. S. If one wants to compare the prices with other stores or prices in other countries etc., product to product, then we are NOT their Jeweler and they are better off buying their needs else where. We have focused more on Beauty, Compliments and Positive Effect rather than just price, price, price or resale value and money, money, money. A so called Educated customer (actually a Doctor) selected an astrological stone & ordered us to make custom size ring for him. A week after wearing that ring, his wife came in very satisfied & said that the ring produced very positive effects & results and that she also wants to make another ring for her brother. A couple days later, the Doctor customer came in with a grim face & said that the stone is not as "valuable" for the money he had paid. Just to mention (interestingly) that we had made only $ 150 profit on his whole payment of $ 900 for the ring which included the Gold cost, Custom making charges, the stone cost, sales tax & credit card charges. Please remember that he had selected the stone from what was shown to him. During the conversation, we gathered that he was actually acting up just because another Jeweler in the market (whose son he claimed was his friend) had "educated" him about the stone value (& not about the positive effect). Irrespective of who had "valued" that stone, how can he create a "scene" in a Jewelry showroom "after" applying his own mind in selecting the stone? If he said that he had trusted us, then even that turned out to be a lie as he was trusting the word of "someone else" versus the positive effect that him & his family had experienced. So, how can we "satisfy" such customers who themselves cannot "satisfy" their patients or guarantee anything to their patients when it comes to them & their area of work? Such customers are whimsical, arrogant and "value" concious even in the field of astrology & astrological stones where "value" means effect value and NOT money value. The amount of time put & the aggravation we had to face from such customers teach us to be cautious before promising any sorts of satisfaction guarantee. Hence NO tall promises. We (and our products) are only as good as you are. That is the only reasonable satisfaction promise we can give.
